The Fremonts will play the March 28 “Collard Greens & Southern Blues” party at the Mingei International Museum in Balboa Park celebrating the art of former slave Bill Traylor.  Tickets for the event are $15 for members of the museum and the Firehouse Swing Dance C, and $20 for non-members.  In addition to the music of The Fremonts, the 6 to 9 p.m. party features access to the Traylor art exhibit, cocktails and food from Bonnie Jean’s, a San Diego soul food restaurant. Reservations are encouraged by calling  (619) 239-0003.
