Please join BLUSD for our International Blues Challenge send-off party for Fuzzy Rankins on Saturday, 1/11/14 at Tio Leo’s Napa/Morena from 1 – 4.  It’s an all-ages venue, there will be great raffle prizes, and admission is only $10! Lenny “Fuzzy” Rankins has been a fixture on the San Diego blues scene for many years.  In addition to his formidable musical skills, he is actively involved in community service, including BLUSD’s Blues Summer Camp and Photocharity’s homeless outreach program in Ocean Beach.   The band members include Bruce Hutcherson on drums, Tom Mylett on bass and Hindy Bare on keyboards. The IBC takes place in Memphis January 21 – 25, 2014, bringing top talent from around the world to vie for this prestigious recognition.  Let’s all show our San Diego representatives the  love!
